The Northern Mustang Corral will once again be at the Chicago Auto Show. The last time our club was there was in 2020 and we certainly enjoyed all the folks that stopped by to gaze at our Mustangs. In 2025 we shall return. We will be there February 8-17. Please stop by and say hi and see what vehicles we brought this time. The Chicago Auto Show is a great place to view the new upcoming models, but if you would like to change it up a bit and look at some older cars, then by all means stop at our exhibit!

Since 1991, The Northern Mustang Corral has been celebrating the Mustang! We are a dedicated group of Mustang lovers based in Bourbonnais, IL. (about 55 miles south of Chicago.) We now have over 50 members in our club and 80 Mustangs ranging from 1964 1/2 to the new Dark Horse. We’ve got Shelbys, Cobras, Mach1’s, Saleens, Bosses, Roush’s and even a couple Shelby Cobra replicas! In 2020, our club was invited to show our cars at the Chicago Auto Show. We host and attend activities and events nearly every month of the year, such as racing, car shows, cruises, road rallies and poker runs, just to name a few. In 2023, we hosted a Mustang vs. Camaro challenge. We drag raced at US41 dragstrip in Morocco, IN., and then caravanned to the Autobahn in Joliet for a road rally competition!

We put on our first Mustang & FORD Car Show in 1991 and had about 35 cars. Today, we have ten times that number and an appearance by the official FORD merchandising trailer so that you can purchase official FORD gear! Our show has been published several times over the years in the MUSTANG TIMES (official publication of the MCA). We also publish a monthly newsletter, From The Corral, to keep you informed. Over the years, our club has donated over $16,000 to local charities.

We meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month, 7PM, at the Chicago Dough Company located at 545 S. Main St. in Bourbonnais. For those members unable to attend, you can meet virtually via ZOOM. We discuss events, car shows, and outings we'd like to attend as a group and are a regional club affiliated with MCA (Mustang Club of America).
